International Nurses
Just like our UK Nurses, our International Nurses play a huge part in providing the best care for residents in our homes. That is why at Four Seasons Health Care we are here to support our dedicated International Recruitment team every step of the way.
Our overseas nurses travel from all over the world including Philippines, Africa and Eastern Europe, bringing with them a wealth of experience and culture. They have worked in various clinical settings but need to complete several assessments to practice here in the UK as an NMC Registered Nurse.
The assessments include the OET (Occupational English Test) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System), the CBT (Computer Based Test) in their home country, and when they arrive in the UK they must complete their OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) training. These assessments are all part of registration process to register as a nurse or midwife in the UK with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and allow our Nurse recruits to acquire their PIN.

Moving to the UK is a big life decision that International Nurses make, many travelling on their own, and leaving their families and life as they knew it in their home countries. Hear from some of our overseas nurse including their journey and advice for new International Nurses here.
For more guidance and to be kept up-to-date with the latest requirements visit the NMC website, download the NMC booklet for more information on each part of the process or email niw.recruitment@fshc.co.uk to contact our International Recruitment team.
