Central support teams exist to support managers, nurses and care staff in all aspects surrounding the operation of the care home allowing them to focus solely on the care of our residents.

Village Manager/Warden required at Saddle Mews, Douglas, Isle of Man to effectively manage the safety and welfare of all residents within the 122 Residential Apartments 

Job entails ensuring all necessary works are carried out along with support for the 122 Apartments and their residents, in addition being on call to the residents for on-site emergencies. 

The ideal candidate will be able to carry out extensive Landscaping (In Gardens that have just been awarded Douglas in Bloom Recognition in two Categories) along with basic DIY jobs.  The role requires strong organisational skills in order to co-ordinate contractors for all necessary remedial works and ensure the upkeep of the site and quality controls as and when required. 

Administration elements are also required to support the above and ensure all records of the village are kept up to date and meet all moral, legal and statutory requirements of the company. 

 

Job Requirements

The role offers a live in opportunity with a fully expensed 1 bedroom Lodge and this is reflected through the salary offered.
