As a Regional Support Manager you should:

Provide support to the Regional Manager and, under his/her direction, provide support to a portfolio of Home Managers such that each home delivers exceptional care in a commercially successful environment.

Datix Incident and reporting system:

o Be the champion for the incident and reporting system
o Ensure investigations are dealt with promptly across the Region
o Support HM’s to complete and close investigations logged on the system
o Provide coaching and lessons learnt to HMs
o Carry out monthly monitoring of the DATIX system identifying and reporting on trends.

The successful candidate must have managed more than one care home, be fully cognisant of CQC regulations and be able to assist Home Managers to become fully compliant.

The role requires a flexible approach as hours will vary to reflect the work patterns and needs of the business.

You may be required to travel in the UK at the Company’s discretion in the course of your duties.

A full UK driving licence is required


Job Requirements

As a Regional Support Manager you be responsible to work with and under the direct supervision of the Regional Manager and to provide appropriate support to Home Managers and their home teams and to also provide all assistance necessary in order for individual homes, and the region as a collective, to deliver exceptional care in a commercially successful environment.
You are to deputise for the Regional Manager during annual leave or sick leave and undertake focused projects as determined by the Regional Manager as well as assisting the Regional Manager in identifying trends and implementing action as appropriate.
Assist with providing direction, as necessary, to Peripatetic Staff and to undertake, as directed by the Regional Manager, quality audits on a monthly basis and implement action plans/feedback as required.

It is essential for the successful candidate to have a recognised Management Qualification and would be desirable for the candidate to be NMC registered Nurse
