Four Seasons Health Care Group are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to support across our North East and Scotland care homes

You will act as an expert resource, providing the knowledge and skills required to promote a positive Health and Safety Culture, assisting managers and staff to comply with relevant statutory provisions and industry best practice.

This is a challenging role where you will work independently. Drive initiative to develop and deliver change are essential; including an innovative solutions based approach.

As part of central support function, your role will involve working closely with the operations team within the care environment and you will be seen as a positive, optimistic individual with a can do attitude.  

Job Requirements

In order to achieve this our Health and Safety Advisor should have:

A Chartered Safety Practitioner or be working towards CMIOSH status and will have demonstrable experience in risk management / health and safety in the health and social care industry.

You will have a recognised and approved post graduate qualification in the field and/or a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.

You will be a team player with excellent (verbal and written) communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and motivate at all levels across the business.  The ability to analyse data and identify trends, with the ability to present this at a high level.  You will also have good working knowledge of IT including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software and web based systems.

The position entails substantial travel throughout the UK with overnight stays.

A full UK driving licence is required.

The role requires a flexible approach as hours will vary to reflect the work patterns and needs of the business.  This may include working outside of normal business hours on occasion. 

This role includes 30 days holiday allowance plus bank holidays, a company car allowance, mobile phone and laptop.
