Four Seasons Health Care are currently looking for an administrator to support with tasks and development of the Care Home Assistant Practitioner (CHAP) programme. The location is negotiable – this role can be based at a Regional Office near you

What is the CHAP program?

The CHAP program is a training course which provides further clinical skills and a qualification to practitioners, this allows the practitioners to support even further throughout the care homes

Job Purpose

To provide high quality administrative support to the Care Home Assistant Practitioner (CHAP) team across all areas of the business.

To deal with correspondence on behalf of the CHAP Team when directed to do so.

To deliver an effective administrative service which meets the needs of the business and accords with the business’ data and compliance requirements.

Job Requirements

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Supporting the CHAP Team

  1. Provide support to the CHAP Team with administrative tasks having due regard to confidentiality and the high level of sensitivity of information held
  2. Respond to telephone enquiries redirecting calls as necessary
  3. Assist with the production of high quality documents and presentations
  4. Attend specific meetings and co-ordinate the circulation of information and action points following the meeting
  5. Maintain databases and spreadsheets
  6. Collate statistics and produce reports
  7. Organise Travel for CHAP Team and CHAPs as required

Supporting the delivery of CHAP Mentor Training

  1. To maintain a UK register of CHAP Nurse Mentors
  2. Send Certificates to CHAP Mentors following verified attendance at Mentor Study Day

Supporting the recruitment of Internal CHAPs

  1. Communicate with candidates, Home Managers, CHAP Leads and CHAP Facilitators by telephone, letter and email
  2. Maintain accurate records on Care home practitioner App, including scanning and uploading of Supporting the delivery of CHAP Training 
  3. Work with regional CHAP Leads and Facilitators to ensure accurate training records are maintained on CHAP App
  4. Co-ordinate regional training days by organising travel and ensuring resources are in place
  5. Monitor the progress of CHAPs working towards Level 3 Qualification, liaising with external assessors and keeping records updated
  6. Post updates to CHAP Forums

We are offering a competitive starting salary of £18,500, with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. The location is negotiable – this role can be based at a Regional Office near you.
