Permanent Part Time Care Home Administrator / Receptionist

Cedar Court Care home in Abbey Wood, London SE2 (Part of Four Seasons Health Care) are looking for an experienced Office Administrator / Receptionist to join their friendly caring team.  Cedar Court is a very animal friendly Care Home, with a beautiful garden setting where the residents benefit from a variety of animals, flowers and forna.

This is a Part Time permanent contract:

  • 22 Hours per week (Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays
  • £8.28 per hour

Ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience:

  • competent using Miscrosoft Office Word & Excel
  • experience of managing a payroll system
  • experience of working as an administrator in a busy environment
  • professional communication skills - face to face & over the phone
  • organised with excellent timekeeping, able to meet deadlines
  • team player, ability to work with a wide variety of people
  • NVQ3 Administration is preferred, however experience will be considered

As a Care Home Administrator / Receptionist - you will be responsible for ensuring the administration of the home runs smoothly and effectively; assisting the Care Home Manager in all aspects of the home's administration. As the first point of contact you will help to ensure a positive first impression is created with all visitors to the care home.

The successful applicant should have a professional manner when dealing with any incoming calls. Greeting visitors is an important part of the role, along with general administration tasks, including preparing reports and minute taking.
