Under the supervision of Nursing/Senior care staff, you will work as part of a team to deliver excellent standards of care to individuals and their families. Care will be carried out as per individual care plans, whilst promoting privacy, dignity and promoting independence. Will you repect peoples wishes and choices. Achieve the highest standards of person centred care by insuring individual needs are met in accordance with company policy. Moving and handling training will be supplied as resident's who need assistance need to reassured the staff assisting them are competent. Daily assessments are carried out and documentation is a key part of being in the care sector. It is essential that all residents daily care needs are met by confident, competent care staff. The environment has to be kept clean at all times, this is not just a domestics job, all staff are responsible for the cleanliness of the home. Keep training up to date, complkete documentation clearly and correctly, meet residents care needs in a person centred way remembering each person is an individual. Establish factors which influence the well being of the resident and the way in which they would choose to receive their care and support .
